IFA monitors the performance of IFA products and that of her competitors. IFA product design is guided by customer requirements and by internally developed know-how. Innovation is driven by an annual technology review process.


CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT

IFA seeks to improve customer satisfaction, product quality, workplace safety, environmental sustainability and associate satisfaction while maintaining a profit margin which guarantees IFA’s future. To this end, targets are set annually by the management board. Achievement of targets influences bonus compensation.


QUALITY

IFA improves continuously the conformity of the delivered product with customer-approved specifications. Zero defects is the goal.

PREVENTION

The IFA production system, IPS, combines robust design with capable processes. Where necessary, tests are performed to ensure only good parts leave each workplace. IFA enhances product design and manufacturing processes to improve product durability in the field and to ensure consumer safety.


SAFETY

Uncompromising workplace safety is the basis of all activities at IFA.


STANDARDISATION

IFA has a management system of directives, against which IFA’s performance is regularly audited. The adequacy of the management system is annually assessed. Every year, IFA writes a multi-year business plan to ensure availability of resources.

COMPLIANCE

All IFA actions are compliant with applicable laws and IFA rules.


SUSTAINABILITY

IFA manages closed supply and disposal cycles for all materials. Remanufacturability and recyclability are criteria for product design.
